Claude Peyrot is an independent international consultant, with extensive experience in the public and private sectors, who has most rencently worked with the Executive Officers of major international financial institutions, including the World Bank’s Chief Economist, the Governors of the central banks of Europe, France, Finland and Portugal, the European Bank for Reconstruction, the Bank for International Settlements, the African Development Bank, and South African and SADEC development institutions.
His diversified client base has been a mix of major public and private institutions, in the public field, but also of large service, industrial and air transport corporations. He has also created several SMEs. Previously, he was a partner of McKinsey and Company, based in New York, then Geneva and Paris.
Claude has been mostly involved in change and project management, strategic and operationnal planning, and human ressources management. This work has taken him to Western Europe, the USA and Canada, Southern and Western Africa and the Russian Federation.
Claude, a french and swiss national, is a graduate of the french HEC, holds a BA in Geography from the Sorbonne, has been an officer in the french air force, and initially worked in Paris, Rome and New York for Air France. He also holds a professionnal off shore sailing licence and has managed a large sea rescue station. Together with his wife Tonia, they have four children.
